16		-	RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
17		-	resolution may be cited as the “Modification Nos. 15, 16, 17, 17a, 17b, 17c, and 18 to Contract
18		-	No. CW98887 with Great American Corporation Approval and Payment Authorization Emergency Declaration Resolution of 2025”.
19		-	Sec. 2. (a) There exists an immediate need to approve Modifications Nos. 15, 16, 17, 17a,
20		-	17b, 17c, and 18 to Contract No. CW 98887 with Great American Corporation, and to authorize
21		-	payment for the goods and services received and to be received under the contract .
22		-	(b) On November 13, 2024, via Modification No. 15, the Office of Contracting and
23		-	Procurement (“OCP”), on behalf of the Department of Aging and Community Living, extended
24		-	the period of performance of option year 2 t hrough January 16, 2025, and increased the not -to-
25		-	exceed (“NTE”) amount by $490,000, to $2,572,639.53.
26		-	(c) On November 25, 2024, via Modification No. 16, OCP deleted the price schedules of
27		-	option years 2, 3, and 4 and replaced them with revised price schedules.
28		-	(d) On December 5, 202 4, via Modification No. 1 7, OCP extended the period of
29		-	performance of option year 2 through February 7, 2025.
30		-	(e) On January 16, 2025, via Modification No. 17a , OCP extended the period of
31		-	performance of option year 2 through March 7, 2025, and increased the NTE amount by $490,000, to $3,062,639.53.
32		-	(f) On February 19, 2025, via Modification No. 17 b, OCP extended the period of
33		-	performance of option year 2 through April 4, 2025, and revised the price schedules of option years 2, 3, and 4.
34		-	(g) On February 21, 2025, via Modification No. 17c, OCP increased the NTE amount of
35		-	option year 2 by $20,000, to $3,082,639.53.
36		-	(h) Modification No. 18 will fully exercise option year 2, extend the period of
37		-	performance of option year 2 through May 15, 2025, and increase the NTE amount by $1,758,531.87, to $4,841,171.40.
38		-	(i) Council approval is necessary because the modification s will increase the value of the

43		-	(j) Council approval is necessary to allow the continuation of these vital services.
44		-	Without Council approval, Great American Corporation cannot be paid for goods and services
45		-	provided in excess of $1 million for the period from May 16, 2024, through May 15, 2025.

47		-	Sec. 3. The Council determines that the circumstances enumerated in section 2 constitute
48		-	emergency circumstances making it necessary that the Modification Nos. 15, 16, 17, 17a, 17b,
49		-	17c, and 18 to Contract No. CW98887 with Great American Corporation Approval and Payment
50		-	Authorization Emergency Act of 2025 be adopted after a single reading.
