229229 Education (NCATE). Dr. Mitchell has also served as a research associate in the Education Policy
230230 Center at the Urban Institute, a non- profit research group in Washington, DC. She began her career
231231 as a secondary social studies teacher at Hine Jr. High School in Washington, DC. She currently
232232 serves as a DC College Access Program board member, a member of the DC Workforce
233233 Investment Council, and commissioner on the DC Commission on National and Cummunity

235235 A Ward 4 resident, Dr. Mitchell earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia
