 SENATE BILL NO. 264 

   

 AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 26 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO PUBLIC UTILITIES. 

   

  BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:   Section 1. Amend 315, Title 26 of the Delaware Code by making deletions as shown by strike through and insertions as shown by underline as follows:    315. Electric and natural gas utility distribution system improvement  charge [Effective until June 14, 2025].   charge.   (g) The provisions of this section as amended by 81 Del. Laws, c. 268, 1, shall expire on June 14, 2025, unless extended by action of the General Assembly.   [Repealed.]      

 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:

  SYNOPSIS   This Act removes the sunset provision under 315 of Title 26, relating to the electrical and natural gas utility distribution system improvement charge. By doing so, the Act leaves the current version of 315 in effect.    Author: Senator Paradee
