| 23 | 23 | | Section 1. Section 189.0311, Florida Statutes, is amended 10 |

| 27 | 27 | | (1) Notwithstanding any general law, special act, or 14 |

| 28 | 28 | | ordinance of a local government to the contrary, any independent 15 |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | special district charter enacted after September 30, 1989, shall 16 |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | contain the information required by s. 189.031(3). Recog nizing 17 |

| 31 | 31 | | that the exclusive charter for a community development district 18 |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | is the statutory charter contained in ss. 190.006 -190.041, 19 |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | community development districts established after July 1, 1980, 20 |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | pursuant to the provisions of chapter 190 shall be deemed in 21 |

| 35 | 35 | | compliance with this requirement. 22 |

| 36 | 36 | | (2) Notwithstanding s. 189.072(2), any independent special 23 |
