2929 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 16

3131 Section 1. Section 320.0878, Florida Statutes, is created 18
3232 to read: 19
3333 320.0878 Blue Angels motorcycle specialty license plate. — 20
3434 (1) Notwithstanding s. 320.08053, the department shall 21
3535 develop a reduced-dimensions Blue Angels specialty license plate 22
3636 for display on motorcycles. 23
3737 (2) The department shall issue a Blue Angels specialty 24
3838 license plate to the owner or lessee of any motorcycle upon 25

5151 request. Each request must be made annually to the department, 26
5252 accompanied by the taxes and fees established in s . 320.08781. 27
5353 (3) The annual use fees collected pursuant to s. 28
5454 320.08781(4) for the sale of the plate shall be distributed to 29
55-the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation, a nonprofit Florida 30
56-corporation under s. 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue C ode, to 31
57-fund maintenance, programs, marketing, and projects of the 32
58-foundation, including the National Naval Aviation Museum and the 33
59-National Flight Academy in Pensacola. Up to 10 percent of the 34
60-funds received by the foundation may be used for marketing of 35
61-the plate and costs directly associated with the administration 36
62-of the foundation. The foundation shall distribute 50 percent of 37
63-the funds to eligible programs and projects associated with the 38
64-National Flight Academy and the remainder of the funds to 39
65-eligible programs and projects associated with the National 40
66-Naval Aviation Museum. 41
67- (4) If the owner or lessee to whom the department has 42
68-issued a Blue Angels motorcycle specialty license plate acquires 43
69-a replacement vehicle within the owner's registration per iod, 44
70-the department must authorize a transfer of the plate to the 45
71-replacement vehicle in accordance with s. 320.0609. The annual 46
72-use fee and processing fee established in s. 320.08781 may not 47
73-be refunded. 48
74- (5) The plate shall be 4 inches wide by 7 inches long and 49
75-incorporate an image of the Blue Angels approved by the 50
55+the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation. 30
56+ (4) If the owner or lessee to whom the department has 31
57+issued a Blue Angels motorcycle spe cialty license plate acquires 32
58+a replacement vehicle within the owner's registration period, 33
59+the department must authorize a transfer of the plate to the 34
60+replacement vehicle in accordance with s. 320.0609. The annual 35

101- Section 2. This act shall take effect October 1, 2022, but 64
102-only if HB 143 or similar legislation takes effect , if such 65
103-legislation is adopted in the same legislative session or an 66
104-extension thereof and becomes a law. 67
