91- Section 1. Subsection (46) is added to section 320.01, 54

93- 320.01 Definitions, general. —As used in the Florida 56
94-Statutes, except as otherwise provided, the term: 57
95- (46) "Registration certificate card" means a ca rd, the 58
96-approximate size of a driver license, which contains all of the 59
97-information provided on a motor vehicle certificate of 60
98-registration. 61

100-320.02, Florida Statutes, are renumbered as subsections (16 ) 63

126- (c) Notwithstanding the requirements of paragraph (a), the 77
127-owner of a motor vehicle subject to paragraph (a) who has had 78
128-his or her driver license suspended pursuant to a violation of 79
129-s. 316.193 or pursuant to s. 322.26(2) for driving under the 80
130-influence must obtain a 6 -month registration as a condition of 81
131-reinstating the license, subject to renewal during the 3 -year 82
132-period that financial responsibility requirements apply. The 83
133-registration period beg ins the first day of the birth month of 84
134-the owner and ends the last day of the fifth month immediately 85
135-following the owner's birth month. For such vehicles, the 86
136-department shall issue a vehicle registration certificate and, 87
137-upon the request of the owner, a registration certificate card 88
138-that are that is valid for 6 months and shall issue a validation 89
139-sticker that displays an expiration date of 6 months after the 90
140-date of issuance. The license tax required by s. 320.08 and all 91
141-other applicable license taxes sh all be one-half of the amount 92
142-otherwise required, except the service charge required by s. 93
143-320.04 shall be paid in full for each 6 -month registration. A 94
144-vehicle required to be registered under this paragraph is not 95
145-eligible for the extended registration pe riod under paragraph 96

147- Section 4. Paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of section 98

186-vehicle for which issued and shall be exhibited upon demand of 125
