2222 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 9

2424 Section 1. Subsection (5) of section 409.9 77, Florida 11
2525 Statutes, is amended to read: 12
2626 409.977 Enrollment. — 13
2727 (5) A specialty plan plans serving a child children in the 14
2828 care and custody of the department may continue to serve such 15
2929 child children as long as he or she continues to be eligible for 16
3030 Medicaid pursuant to s. 409.903 and: 17
3131 (a) Remains They remain in care, including those remaining 18
3232 in extended foster care pursuant to s. 39.6251 ; 19
3333 (b) Is, or are in subsidized adoption ; or 20
3434 (c) His or her guardian receives guardianship assistance 21
3535 payments as defined in s. 39.01 under the Guardianship 22
3636 Assistance Program and continue to be eligible for Medicaid 23
3737 pursuant to s. 409.903 . 24
3838 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022. 25
