2424 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 11

2626 Section 1. Paragraph (c) of subsection (2) of section 13
2727 507.04, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: 14
2828 507.04 Required insurance coverages; liability 15
2929 limitations; valuation coverage. — 16
3030 (2) MOTOR VEHICLE INSURANCE. —Each mover operating in this 17
3131 state must maintain current and valid motor vehicle insurance 18
3232 coverage, including combined bodily injury and property damage 19
3333 liability coverage in the following minimum amounts: 20
3434 (c) Seven hundred and fifty Three hundred thousand dollars 21
3535 per occurrence for a commercial motor vehicle with a gross 22
3636 weight of 44,000 pounds or more. 23
3737 Section 2. Subsection (3) of section 627.7415, Florida 24
3838 Statutes, is amended to read: 25

5151 627.7415 Commercial motor vehicles; additional liability 26
5252 insurance coverage.—Commercial motor vehicles, as defined in s. 27
5353 207.002 or s. 320.01, operated upon the roads and highways of 28
5454 this state shall be insured with the following minimum levels of 29
5555 combined bodily liability insurance and property damage 30
5656 liability insurance in addition to any other insurance 31

5858 (3) Seven hundred and fifty Three hundred thousand dollars 33
5959 per occurrence for a commercial motor vehicle with a gross 34
6060 vehicle weight of 44,000 pounds or more , except for a vehicle 35
6161 that is a wrecker as defined in s. 320.01(39) and that is 36
6262 eligible for a wrecker license plate under s. 320.0821, which 37
6363 wrecker must be insured at $300,000 per occurrence . 38

6565 A violation of this section is a noncriminal traffic infraction, 40
6666 punishable as a nonmoving violation as provided in chapter 318. 41
6767 Section 3. This act shall take effect January 1, 2022. 42
