2222 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 9

2424 Section 1. Subsections (7) and (8) are added to section 11
2525 817.36, Florida Statutes, to read: 12
2626 817.36 Resale of tickets. — 13
2727 (7) Any tickets, other than the tickets in paragraphs 14
2828 (1)(a), (1)(b), or (1)(c), may only be sold as nontransferable 15
2929 tickets if, at the time of sale, the original ticket seller 16
3030 offers the option, prominently displayed, to purchase the same 17
3131 ticket with no limit on transferability. For purposes of this 18
3232 subsection, a nontransferable ticket is a ticket that: 19
3333 (a) May not be given away or resold in a method of the 20
3434 ticketholder's choosing; or 21
3535 (b) Requires the ticketholder and the purchaser to 22
3636 facilitate the exchange exclusively through an application 23
3737 program operated by the original ticket seller. 24
