HB 1123 2022 CODING: Words stricken are deletions; words underlined are additions. hb1123-00 Page 1 of 2 F L O R I D A H O U S E O F R E P R E S E N T A T I V E S A bill to be entitled 1 An act relating to ratification of rules of the 2 Department of Financial Services; ratifying a 3 specified rule relating to the Florida Workers' 4 Compensation Health Care Provider Reimbursement Manual 5 for the sole and exclusive purpose of satisfying any 6 condition on effectiveness pursuant to s. 120.541(3), 7 F.S., which requires ratification of any rule meeting 8 any specified thresholds for likely adverse impact or 9 increase in regulatory costs; providing an effective 10 date. 11 12 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 13 14 Section 1. (1) The following rule is ratified for the 15 sole and exclusive purpose of satisfying any condition on 16 effectiveness imposed under s. 120.541(3), Florida Statutes: 17 Rule 69L-7.020, Florida Administrative Code, titled "Florida 18 Workers' Compensation Health Care Provider Reimbursement 19 Manual," as filed for adoption with the Department of State 20 pursuant to the certification package dated October 22, 2021. 21 (2) This act serves no other purpose and shall not be 22 codified in the Florida Statutes. This act does not alter rulemaking 26 additions delegated by prior law, does not constitute 27 legislative preemption of or exception to any provision of law 28 governing adoption or enforcement of the rule cited, and is 29 intended to preserve the status of any rule cited as a rule 30 under chapter 120, Florida Statutes. This act does not cure any 31 rulemaking defect or preempt any challenge based on a lack of 32 authority or a violation of the legal requirements governing the 33 adoption of the rule cited. 34 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022. 35
