An act relating to the City of Jacksonville, Duval 2 
County; amending ch. 87 -471, Laws of Florida, as 3 
amended; creating a special zone in downtown 4 
Jacksonville; providing boundaries; providing an 5 
exception to general law; providing space, seating, 6 
and minimum gross revenue requirements for special 7 
alcoholic beverage licenses for public food service 8 
establishments in described areas; providing an 9 
effective date. 10

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 12 
 13 
 Section 1.  Chapter 87 -471, Laws of Florida, as amended by 14 
chapters 2011-255, 2016-248, and 2017-213, Laws of Florida, is 15 
amended to read: 16 
 Section 1.  There are created speci al zones in downtown 17 
Jacksonville covering the following described areas , known as 18 
Northside West, Northside East, Southbank, Riverside Avondale 19 
Urban Transition Area, and Riverside Avondale Commercial 20 
Character Areas, Murray Hill Commercial Area, Springfi eld 21 
Commercial Area, and San Marco Transportation Corridor , and 22 
Kings Avenue Commercial Corridor for the purposes of this act. 23
