Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 7

Section 1. Key Biscayne Sargassum Seaweed Removal and 9
Composting Pilot Project Support is an Appropriations Project as 10
defined in The Rules of The Florida Ho use of Representatives and 11
is described in Appropriations Project Request 305, herein 12
incorporated by reference. 13
Section 2. For fiscal year 2022-2023 the nonrecurring sum 14
of $480,000 from the General Revenue Fund is appropriated to the 15
Department of Environmental Protection to fund the Key Biscayne 16
Sargassum Seaweed Removal and Composting Pilot Project Support 17
as described in Appropriations Project Request 305. 18
Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022. 19
