Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 6

Section 1. Homestead Electrical Backup Infrastructure is 8
an Appropriations Project as defined in The Rules of The Florida 9
House of Representatives and is described in Appropriations 10
Project Request 870, herein incorporated by reference. 11
Section 2. For fiscal year 2022-2023 the nonrecurring sum 12
of $750,000 from the General Revenue Fund is appropriated to the 13
Department of Economic Opportunity to fund the Homestead 14
Electrical Backup Infrastructure as described in Appropriations 15
Project Request 870. 16
Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022. 17
