Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 6

Section 1. Safer, Smarter Schools is an Appropriations 8
Project as defined in The Rules of The Florida House of 9
Representatives and is described in Appropriations Project 10
Request 872, herein incorporated by ref erence. 11
Section 2. For fiscal year 2022-2023 the nonrecurring sum 12
of $2,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund is appropriated to 13
the Department of Education to fund the Safer, Smarter Schools 14
as described in Appropriations Project Request 872. 15
Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022. 16
