Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 6

Section 1. Clay County Jail Expansion is an Appropriations 8
Project as defined in The Rules of The Florida House of 9
Representatives and is described in Appropriations Project 10
Request 1293, herein incorporated by reference. 11
Section 2. For fiscal year 2022-2023 the nonrecurring sum 12
of $9,600,000 from the General Revenue Fund is appropriated to 13
the Department of Law Enforcement to fund the Clay County Jail 14
Expansion as described in Appropriations Project Request 1293. 15
Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022. 16
