Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 6

Section 1. Academic Advancement Zone is an Appropriations 8
Project as defined in The Rules of The Florida House of 9
Representatives and is described in Appropriations Project 10
Request 1002, herein incorporated by reference. 11
Section 2. For fiscal year 2022-2023 the nonrecurring sum 12
of $500,000 from the General Revenue Fund is appropriated to the 13
Department of Education to fund the Academic Advancement Zone as 14
described in Appropriations Project Req uest 1002. 15
Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022. 16
