2424 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 11

2626 Section 1. Paragraph (m) of subsection (2) of section 13
2727 119.071, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: 14
2828 119.071 General exemptions from inspection or copying of 15
2929 public records.— 16
3030 (2) AGENCY INVESTIGATION S.— 17
3131 (m)1. Criminal intelligence information or criminal 18
3232 investigative information that reveals the personal identifying 19
3333 information of a witness to a murder, as described in s. 782.04, 20
3434 is confidential and exempt from s. 119.07(1) and s. 24(a), Art. 21
3535 I of the State Constitution for 2 years after the date on which 22
3636 the murder is observed by the witness. A criminal justice agency 23
3737 may disclose such information: 24
3838 1.a. In the furtherance of its official duties and 25

5858 2. This paragraph is subject to the Open Government Sunset 33
5959 Review Act in accordance with s. 119.15 and shall stand repealed 34
6060 on October 2, 2022, unless reviewed and saved from repeal 35
6161 through reenactment by the Legislature. 36
6262 Section 2. This act shall take effect October 1, 2022. 37
