2323 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 12

2525 Section 1. Subsection (5) of section 267.1736, Florida 14
2626 Statutes, is amended to read: 15
2727 267.1736 Direct-support organization. — 16
2828 (5) The university shall establish policies and may adopt 17
2929 rules pursuant to s. 1004.28 prescribing the procedures by which 18
3030 the direct-support organization is governed and any conditions 19
3131 with which a direct-support organization must comply to use 20
3232 property, facilities , or personal services of the university. 21

4747 (c) The enterprise shall establish a process to issue 26
4848 permits to railroad companies for the construction of 27
4949 communication facilities within a new or existing public or 28
5050 private high-speed rail system. The enterprise may adopt rules 29
5151 to administer such permits, including rules regarding the form, 30
5252 content, and necessary supporting documentation for permit 31
5353 applications; the process for submitting applications; and the 32
5454 application fee for a permit under s. 341.825. The enterprise 33
5555 shall provide a copy of a completed permit application to 34
5656 municipalities and counties where the high -speed rail system 35
5757 will be located. The enterprise shall allow each such 36
5858 municipality and county 30 days to provide comments to the 37
5959 enterprise regarding the application, including any 38
6060 recommendations regarding conditions that may be placed on the 39
6161 permit. 40
6262 Section 3. Paragraphs (f) and (g) of subsection (7) of 41
6363 section 341.840, Florida Statutes, are amended to read: 42
