An act relating to a review under the Open Government 2
Sunset Review Act; amending s. 655.057, F.S., which 3
provides exemptions from public records requirements 4
for certain information held by the Office of 5
Financial Regulation relating to active investigations 6
and the regulation of financial institutions; removing 7
the scheduled repeal of the exemption; amending s. 8
663.416, F.S., which provides an exemption from p ublic 9
records requirements for certain information held by 10
the office relating to affiliated international trust 11
entities; removing the scheduled repeal of the 12
exemption; amending s. 663.540, F.S., which provides 13
an exemption from public records requiremen ts for 14
certain information held by the office relating to 15
qualified limited service affiliates; removing the 16
scheduled repeal of the exemption; providing an 17
effective date. 18

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 20

Section 1. Subsection (14) of section 655.057, Florida 22
Statutes, is amended to read: 23
655.057 Records; limited restrictions upon public access. — 24
(14) Subsections (1), (2), (5), and (9) are subject to the 25

Open Government Sunset Review Act in accordance with s. 119.15 26
and are repealed on October 2, 2022, unless reviewed and saved 27
from repeal through reenactment by the Legislature. 28
Section 2. Subsection (6) of section 663.416, Florida 29
Statutes, is amended to read: 30
663.416 Public records exemption. — 31
(6) OPEN GOVERNMENT SUNSET REVIEW.—This section is subject 32
to the Open Government Sunset Review Act in accordance with s. 33
119.15 and is repealed on October 2, 2022, unless reviewed and 34
saved from repeal through reenactment by the Legislature. 35
Section 3. Subsection (6 ) of section 663.540, Florida 36
Statutes, is amended to read: 37
663.540 Public records exemption. — 38
(6) OPEN GOVERNMENT SUNSET REVIEW. —This section is subject 39
to the Open Government Sunset Review Act in accordance with s. 40
119.15 and is repealed on October 2 , 2022, unless reviewed and 41
saved from repeal through reenactment by the Legislature. 42
Section 4. This act shall take effect October 1, 2022. 43
