2626 Section 1. Section 500.92, Florida Statutes, is create d to 13

2828 500.92 Florida Kratom Consumer Protection Act. — 15
2929 (1) This section may be cited as the "Florida Kratom 16
3030 Consumer Protection Act." 17
3131 (2) As used in this section, the term "kratom product" 18
3232 means a food product, food ingredient, dietary ingredient , 19
3333 dietary supplement, or beverage intended for human consumption 20
3434 which contains any part of the leaf of the plant Mitragyna 21
3535 speciosa or an extract, synthetic alkaloid, or synthetically 22
3636 derived compound of such plant and is manufactured as a powder, 23
3737 capsule, pill, beverage, or other edible form. 24
3838 (3) It is unlawful to sell, deliver, barter, furnish, or 25
