27 | 27 | | Section 1. Subsection (2) of section 1013.13, Florida 14 |

28 | 28 | | Statutes, is renumbered as subsec tion (3), and a new subsection 15 |

35 | 35 | | with local law enforcement and public safety agencies, may apply 22 |

36 | 36 | | to receive funds from the program to provide school mapping data 23 |

37 | 37 | | for each public school, including charter sc hools, in the 24 |

38 | 38 | | district. The school district shall use the funds to satisfy all 25 |

57 | 57 | | (a) School mapping data must be provided in an electronic 32 |

58 | 58 | | or a digital format to assist firs t responders in responding to 33 |
---|
59 | 59 | | emergencies at schools. 34 |

60 | 60 | | (b) The school mapping data provided must: 35 |

61 | 61 | | 1. Be compatible with software platforms used by local, 36 |
---|
62 | 62 | | state, and federal public safety agencies that provide emergency 37 |

63 | 63 | | services to the specific school fo r which the data is provided 38 |
---|
64 | 64 | | without requiring such agencies to purchase additional software 39 |
---|
65 | 65 | | or requiring a fee to view or access the data. 40 |

67 | 67 | | by the specific school for which the data is provided wit hout 42 |
