60 | 60 | | risks of inland or coastal flooding and sea level rise. 35 |

61 | 61 | | 3. The development of proje cts, plans, and policies that 36 |

62 | 62 | | allow communities to prepare for threats from flooding and sea 37 |

92 | 92 | | 1. Each saltwater vulnerability assessment must include 55 |
---|
93 | 93 | | all of the following information: 56 |
---|
94 | 94 | | a. The county's primary water utilities. 57 |
---|
95 | 95 | | b. Current maps of the county's freshwater wellfields and 58 |
---|
96 | 96 | | latest saltwater intrusion impact lines. 59 |
---|
97 | 97 | | c. Projections of saltwater intrusion over the next 60 |
---|
98 | 98 | | decade, including specific wells that may be impacted during 61 |
---|
99 | 99 | | that timeframe. 62 |
---|
100 | 100 | | d. An analysis of the costs necessary to relocate 63 |
---|
101 | 101 | | freshwater wellfields anticipated to be impacted, including 64 |
---|
102 | 102 | | current projects that are underway to reloc ate the freshwater 65 |
---|
103 | 103 | | wellfields. 66 |
---|
104 | 104 | | 2. The department shall use the information contained in 67 |
---|
105 | 105 | | the county's vulnerability assessment to update its 68 |
---|
106 | 106 | | comprehensive statewide flood vulnerability and sea level rise 69 |
---|
107 | 107 | | data set under subsection (4). 70 |

108 | 108 | | 3. The department shall make available to the public, on 71 |
---|
109 | 109 | | the department's website, any appropriate information from the 72 |
---|
110 | 110 | | vulnerability assessment it receives from coastal counties 73 |
