directing the Department of Transportation to erect 5

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 8

Section 1. Jim Kimbrough Highway designated; Department of 10
Transportation to erect suitable markers .— 11
(1) That portion of Suncoast Parkway/S.R. 589 between U.S. 12
98 and S.R. 44 in Hernando and Citrus Counties is designated as 13
"Jim Kimbrough Highway." 14
(2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect 15
suitable markers designating Jim Kimbrough Highway as described 16
in subsection (1). 17
Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2024. 18
