Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 11

Section 1. Transportation facility designations; 13
Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers. — 14
(1) That portion of I -75 between U.S. 17/Duncan Road and 15
Harbor View Road in Charlotte County is desi gnated as "Deputy 16
Sheriff Christopher Taylor Memorial Highway." 17
(2) That portion of U.S. 19 between Palm View Road and 18
Terra Ceia Road in Manatee County is designated as "Army 19
Specialist Nicholas Panipinto Memorial Highway." 20
(3) The mid-block crossing and pedestrian hybrid beacon on 21
that portion of E. University Avenue/S.R. 26 between N.E. 26th 22
Terrace and S.E. 26th Terrace in Alachua County is designated as 23
"Dylan Roberts Memorial Crosswalk." 24
(4) Those portions of the Gandy Bridge on U.S. 92 located 25

(8) That portion of Bay Avenue between W. 25th Street and 38
W. 27th Street in Sunset Islands in Miami -Dade County is 39
designated as "Abe Resnick Dri ve." 40
(9) That portion of S.W. 168th Street between U.S. 1 and 41
S.W. 89th Avenue in Miami -Dade County is designated as "Pastor 42
Rick Blackwood Street." 43
(10) That portion of S.R. 16 between C.R. 225 and Rifle 44
Range Road in Clay County is designated as "Gus Kopelousos 45
Memorial Highway." 46
(11) That portion of S.R. 997/Krome Avenue/W. 177th Avenue 47
between S.W. 8th Street and the entrance to the Miccosukee 48

marker 3.5 and mile marker 2.5 in Polk County is designated as 57
"Randy Roberts Memorial Highway." 58
(15) That portion of S.R. 35/George Jenkins Boulevard 59
between Kathleen Road and N. S loan Avenue in Polk County is 60
designated as "Carol Jenkins Barnett Memorial Highway." 61
(16) That portion of I -95 between mile markers 115 and 120 62
in St. Lucie County is designated as "Trooper Zachary Fink 63
Memorial Highway." 64
(17) The Department of Transp ortation is directed to erect 65
suitable markers designating the transportation facilities as 66
described in this section. 67
Section 2. Sections 1 and 2 of chapter 65 -781, Laws of 68
Florida, are amended to read: 69
Section 1. Upon completion of constructio n, the new S.R. 70
A1A North Causeway Bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway The 71
north bridge in St. Lucie County across Indian River on highway 72
A-1-A is designated as "E.C. Summerlin Family hereby dedicated 73
and named the "D. H. 'Banty' Saunders Bridge." 74
Section 2. The state road Department of Transportation is 75

directed to erect suitable markers designating E.C. Summerlin 76
Family authorized and empowered to affix proper plaques to said 77
bridge bearing the name "D. H. 'Banty' Saunders Bridge as 78
described in section 1." 79
Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2024. 80
