5151 a. "Home addresses" means the dwelling location at which 26

496496 subparagraph 2. must maintain the exempt status of that 327
497497 information only if the officer, employee, justice, judge, other 328
498498 person, or employing agency of the designated employee submits a 329
499499 written and notarized request for maintenance of the exemption 330
500500 to the custodial agency. The request must state under oath the 331
501501 statutory basis for the individual's exemption request and 332
502502 confirm the individual's status as a party eligible for exempt 333

504504 4.a. A county property appraiser, as defined in s. 335
505505 192.001(3), or a county tax collector, as defined in s. 336
506506 192.001(4), who receives a written and notarized request for 337
507507 maintenance of the exemption pursuant to subparagraph 3. must 338
508508 comply by removing the name of the individual with exempt status 339

534534 b. Any information restricted from public display, 353
535535 inspection, or copying under sub -subparagraph a. must be 354
536536 provided to the individual whose information was removed. 355
537537 5. An officer, an employee, a justice, a judge, or other 356
538538 person specified in subparagraph 2. may submit a written request 357
539539 for the release of his or her exempt information to th e 358
540540 custodial agency. The written request must be notarized and must 359
541541 specify the information to be released and the party authorized 360
542542 to receive the information. Upon receipt of the written request, 361
543543 the custodial agency must release the specified information to 362

545545 6. The exemptions in this paragraph apply to information 364
546546 held by an agency before, on, or after the effective date of the 365

648648 may make decisions and determinations that upset members of the 431
649649 public and may incur the ill wi ll of those residents, making 432
650650 current county administrators, deputy county administrators, 433
651651 assistant county administrators, city managers, deputy city 434
652652 managers, and assistant city managers and their spouses and 435
653653 children targets for acts of revenge. If such identifying and 436
654654 location information is released, the safety of current county 437
655655 administrators, deputy county administrators, assistant county 438
656656 administrators, city managers, deputy city managers, and 439
657657 assistant city managers and their spouses and children c ould be 440
658658 seriously jeopardized. For these reasons, the Legislature finds 441
659659 that it is a public necessity that such information be made 442
660660 exempt from public records requirements. 443
661661 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2024. 444
