8888 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 51

9090 Section 1. The Office of Program Policy Analysis and 53
9191 Government Accountability shall, no later than January 1, 2026, 54
9292 produce a report on how the state could best implement a state -55
9393 issued identification card for public works employees that would 56
9494 identify them as first responders. The report shall be provided 57
9595 to the Governor, the President of the Senate, and the Speaker of 58
9696 the House of Representatives. The report shall consider the 59
9797 feasibility of the card, including the national Public Works 60
9898 First Responder symbol developed by the American Public Works 61
9999 Association. 62
100100 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2025. 63
