2222 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 9

2424 Section 1. Subsection (9) of section 16 3.360, Florida 11
2525 Statutes, is amended to read: 12
2626 163.360 Community redevelopment plans. — 13
2727 (9)(a) Upon the approval by the governing body of a 14
2828 community redevelopment plan or of any modification thereof, 15
2929 such plan or modification is shall be deemed to be in full force 16
3030 and effect for the respective community redevelopment area, and 17
3131 the county or municipality may then cause the community 18
3232 redevelopment agency to carry out such plan or modification in 19
3333 accordance with its terms. 20
3434 (b) In carrying out such plan or modification, a community 21
3535 redevelopment agency may use up to 20 percent of tax increment 22
3636 financing funds for business support services, including, but 23
3737 not limited to: 24
3838 1. Payment of rent for a period of 6 months or less for 25
