2222 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 9

2424 Section 1. Paragraph (d) of subsection (9) of section 11
2525 1002.394, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: 12
2626 1002.394 The Family Empowerment Scholarship Program. — 13
2727 (9) PRIVATE SCHOOL ELIGIBILITY AND OBLIGATIONS. —To be 14
2828 eligible to participate in the Family Empowerment Scholarship 15
2929 Program, a private scho ol may be sectarian or nonsectarian and 16

3131 (d) Before a student's enrollment, provide to the parent 18
3232 in writing For a student determined eligible pursuant to 19
3333 paragraph (3)(b), discuss the school's academic programs and 20
3434 policies, specialized services, c ode of conduct, and attendance 21
3535 policies, and specialized services and therapies offered at the 22
3636 school. In addition, each parent of a student with an 23
3737 Individualized Education Plan, Education Plan, English Language 24
3838 Learner Plan, or 504 Plan must be informed of what 25
