| 26 | 26 | | 316.061 Crashes involving damage to vehicle or property. — 13 |

| 27 | 27 | | (1) The driver of any vehicle involved in a crash 14 |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | resulting only in damage to a vehicle or other property which is 15 |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | driven or attended by any person shall immediately stop such 16 |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | vehicle at the scene of such crash or as close thereto as 17 |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | possible, and shall forthwith return to, and in every event 18 |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | shall remain at, the scene of the crash until he or she has 19 |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | fulfilled the requirements of s. 316.062. A person who violates 20 |

| 34 | 34 | | this subsection commits a misdemeanor of the second degree, 21 |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083. The court 22 |

| 36 | 36 | | may order a driver convicted of a violation of this section, who 23 |

| 37 | 37 | | caused or otherwise contributed to the crash, to make 24 |
