Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to develop a Miami 4
Northwestern Alumni Association license plate; 5
specifying design elements for the plate; providing 6
for distribution and use of fees collected from the 7
sale of the plates; providing an effective date. 8

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 10

Section 1. Subsection (136) is added to section 320.08058, 12
Florida Statutes, to read: 13
320.08058 Specialty license plates. — 14
(136) MIAMI NORTHWESTERN ALUMNI ASSOCIATION LICENSE 15
PLATES.— 16
(a) The department shall develop a Miami Northwester n 17
Alumni Association license plate as provided in this section and 18
s. 320.08053. The plate must bear the colors and design approved 19
by the department. The word "Florida" must appear at the top of 20
the plate, and the words "Miami Northwestern Alumni Associat ion" 21
must appear at the bottom of the plate. 22
(b) The annual use fees from the sale of the plate must be 23
distributed to the Miami Northwestern Alumni Association, Inc., 24
and used to fund need -based scholarships, academic programs, and 25

athletic programs for the benefit of Miami Northwestern Senior 26
High School students and the Miami Northwestern Senior High 27
School Performing and Visual Arts Center. 28
Section 2. This act shall take effect October 1, 2025. 29
