2424 Section 1. Section 456.601, Florida Statutes, is crea ted 11

2626 456.601 Medspas.— 13
2727 (1) For the purposes of this section, the term "medspa" 14
2828 means a medical spa facility that offers a combination of 15
2929 cosmetic services and medical services under the supervision of 16
3030 a physician licensed under chapter 458 or c hapter 459. A medspa 17
3131 may provide traditional spa services and noninvasive, cosmetic 18
3232 procedures, such as laser hair removal, medical -grade skin 19
3333 therapies, chemical peels, and cosmetic injections. The term 20
3434 does not include a physician's office in which such services are 21
3535 provided by or under the direct supervision of a physician. 22
3636 (2) Each medspa must prominently post on its website and 23
3737 in a conspicuous location in its facility the name, license 24
