26-Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 13

28- Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subsection (2), paragraph (b) 15
29-of subsection (3), and paragraph (b) of subsection (4) of 16
30-section 501.1736, Florida Statutes, are amended to read: 17
31- 501.1736 Social media use for minors. 18

33- (b) A social media platform shall: 20
34- 1. Terminate any account held by an account holder younger 21
35-than 14 years of age, including accounts that the social media 22
36-platform treats or categorizes as belonging to an account holder 23
37-who is likely younger than 14 years of age for purposes of 24
38-targeting content or advertising, and provide 90 days for an 25
17+platforms to allow parents or guardians and law 4
18+enforcement officers to view messages of certain minor 5
19+account holders and prohibit such account holders from 6
20+using or accessing certain messages; providing an 7
21+effective date. 8

23+Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 10

25+ Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subsection (2), paragraph (b) 12
26+of subsection (3), and paragraph (b) of subsection (4) of 13
27+section 501.1736, Florida Statutes, are amended to read: 14

30+ (b) A social media platform shall: 17
31+ 1. Terminate any accou nt held by an account holder younger 18
32+than 14 years of age, including accounts that the social media 19
33+platform treats or categorizes as belonging to an account holder 20
34+who is likely younger than 14 years of age for purposes of 21
35+targeting content or advertising , and provide 90 days for an 22
36+account holder to dispute such termination. Termination must be 23
37+effective upon the expiration of the 90 days if the account 24
38+holder fails to effectively dispute the termination. 25

62-social media platform relating to the terminated account within 37
63-45 days after termination of the account , unless there are legal 38
64-requirements to maintain such information. 39

66-account holder younger than 14 years of age to view a list of 41
67-the account names with which the minor has exchanged messages. 42
68- 6. Upon receipt of a valid legal process, including, but 43
69-not limited to, a court order, subpoena, or search warrant th at 44
70-complies with 18 U.S.C. s. 2703 and applicable state law, 45
71-disclose to a law enforcement officer any technically feasible 46
72-and reasonably available data that is responsive to a criminal 47
73-investigation related to an account held by a minor. 48
74- 7. Prohibit an account holder who is younger than 14 years 49
75-of age from using or accessing messages that are designed to 50
