insurance; creating s. 624.37, F.S.; requiring the 3
Office of Insurance Regulation to provide a consumer 4
guide relating to homeowner's insurance on a publicly 5
accessible website; specifying requirements for such 6
guide; providing an effective date. 7

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 9

Section 1. Section 624.37, Florida Statutes , is created to 11
read: 12
624.37 Consumer guide to homeowner's insurance. —The office 13
shall, on a publicly accessible website, provide a consumer 14
guide relating to homeowner's insurance which includes all of 15
the following information: 16
(1) General informatio n regarding homeowner's insurance 17
policies. 18
(2) The types of homeowner's insurance policies and the 19
coverage provided under each type. 20
(3) A comparison of the annual homeowner's insurance 21
premiums for each insurer in this state. 22
Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2025. 23
