| 31 | 31 | | 1. Engage in autonomous pra ctice only in primary care 18 |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | practice, including family medicine, general pediatrics, and 19 |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | general internal medicine, as defined by board rule. If an 20 |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | advanced practice registered nurse is certified as a psychiatric 21 |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | mental health advanced practice nurse, he or she may engage in 22 |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | autonomous practice to provide mental health services, as 23 |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | defined by board rule. 24 |

| 38 | 38 | | 2. For certified nurse midwives, engage in autonomous 25 |

| 61 | 61 | | prohibited by federal law or rule. 36 |

| 62 | 62 | | 5. Provide a signature, certification, stamp, 37 |

| 63 | 63 | | verification, affidavit, or endorsement that is otherwise 38 |
|---|
| 64 | 64 | | required by law to be prov ided by a physician, except an 39 |
|---|
| 65 | 65 | | advanced practice registered nurse registered under this section 40 |
|---|
| 66 | 66 | | may not issue a physician certification under s. 381.986. 41 |

| 67 | 67 | | Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2025. 42 |
