2020 the United States of America, by a constitutional majority of 7

2323 WHEREAS, on March 22, 1972, this proposed amendment to the 10
2424 United States Constitution was sent to the states for 11

2626 WHEREAS, Article V of the United States Constitution 13
2727 authorizes the Florida Legislature to ratify proposed amendments 14
2828 to the United States Constitution, and 15
2929 WHEREAS, the provisions of the 1 972 Equal Rights Amendment 16
