| 23 | 23 | | Section 1. Section 403.7033, Florida Statutes, is amended 10 |

| 29 | 29 | | Environmental Protection shall review and up date its 2010 report 16 |

| 30 | 30 | | on retail bags analyzing the need for new or different 17 |

| 31 | 31 | | regulation of auxiliary containers, wrappings, or disposable 18 |

| 32 | 32 | | plastic bags used by consumers to carry products from retail 19 |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | establishments. The updated report must include input from state 20 |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | and local government agencies, stakeholders, private businesses, 21 |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | and citizens and must evaluate the efficacy and necessity of 22 |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | both statewide and local regulation of these materials. To 23 |

| 37 | 37 | | ensure consistent and effective implementation, the department 24 |

| 38 | 38 | | shall submit the updated report with conclusions and 25 |
