An act relating to the Florida Statutes; amending ss. 2
11.2421, 11.2422, 11.2424, and 11.2425, F.S.; adopting 3
the Florida Statutes 2025 and designating the portions 4
thereof that are to constitute the official law of the 5
state; providing that the Florida Statutes 2025 shall 6
be effective immediately upon publication; providing 7
that general laws enacted during the 2024 regular 8
session and prior thereto and not i ncluded in the 9
Florida Statutes are repealed; providing that general 10
laws enacted after the 2024 regular session are not 11
repealed by this adoption act; providing an effective 12
date. 13

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 15

Section 1. Section 11.2421, Florida Statutes, is amended 17
to read: 18
11.2421 Florida Statutes 2025 2024 adopted.—The 19
accompanying revision, consolidation, and compilation of the 20
public statutes of 2024 2023 of a general and permanent nature, 21
excepting tables, rule s, indexes, and other related matter 22
contained therein, prepared by the Office of Legislative 23
Services under the provisions of s. 11.242, together with 24
corrections, changes, and amendments to and repeals of 25

provisions of Florida Statutes 2024 2023 enacted in additional 26
reviser's bill or bills by the 2025 2024 Legislature, is adopted 27
and enacted as the official statute law of the state under the 28
title of "Florida Statutes 2025 2024" and shall take effect 29
immediately upon publication. Said statutes may be cit ed as 30
"Florida Statutes 2025 2024," "Florida Statutes," or "F.S. 2025 31
2024." 32
Section 2. Section 11.2422, Florida Statutes, is amended 33
to read: 34
11.2422 Statutes repealed. —Every statute of a general and 35
permanent nature enacted by the State or by the T erritory of 36
Florida at or prior to the 2024 2023 regular legislative 37
session, and every part of such statute, not included in Florida 38
Statutes 2025 2024, as adopted by s. 11.2421, as amended, or 39
recognized and continued in force by reference therein or in ss. 40
11.2423 and 11.2424, as amended, is repealed. 41
Section 3. Section 11.2424, Florida Statutes, is amended 42
to read: 43
11.2424 Laws not repealed. —Laws enacted after at the 44
November 6-9, 2023, special session through the 2024 regular 45
session are not repe aled by the adoption and enactment of the 46
Florida Statutes 2025 2024 by s. 11.2421, as amended, but shall 47
have full effect as if enacted after its said adoption and 48
enactment. 49
Section 4. Section 11.2425, Florida Statutes, is amended 50

11.2425 Rights reserved under repealed statutes. —The 52
repeal of any statute by the adoption and enactment of Florida 53
Statutes 2025 2024, by s. 11.2421, as amended, shall not affect 54
any right accrued before such repeal or any civil remedy where a 55
suit is pending. 56
Section 5. This act shall take effect on the 60th day 57
after adjournment sine die of the session of the Legislature in 58
which enacted. 59
