1616 Recognizing and commending the Georgia Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce Inc.;

1919 WHEREAS, the Georgia Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce Inc. (GAHCCI),3
2020 established in 2011, stands as a pivotal force committed to fostering a dynamic business4
2121 ecosystem in both the State of Georgia and Haiti; and5
2222 WHEREAS, GAHCCI has emerged as a leading institution that tirelessly champions the6
2323 interests of Haitian Americans in this state and contributes significantly to the cultural7
2424 tapestry of the metro Atlanta area; and8
2525 WHEREAS, GAHCCI's mission is to empower its members by providing essential skills,9
2626 resources, and connections necessary for the establishment and growth of successful10
2727 businesses with the ultimate goal of creating an environment where members, their11
2828 businesses, and local communities in both Georgia and Haiti can thrive; and12
2929 WHEREAS, GAHCCI envisions a future where entrepreneurs in Haiti and the Diaspora13
3030 flourish within a financially healthy ecosystem and actively works towards the development14
3131 of Haiti as a fully realized nation; and15

3434 WHEREAS, GAHCCI's Pwochen Lidè (Future Leaders) Scholarship has contributed greatly

3636 to supporting the next generation of Haitian-American leaders, awarding $60,000 in17
3737 scholarships since its inception; and18
3838 WHEREAS, the Pwochen Lidè Business Awards, a hallmark of GAHCCI's initiatives,19
3939 provides a prestigious platform to honor businesses, organizations, or individuals making20
4040 positive strides in business and contributing significantly to the community; and21
4141 WHEREAS, GAHCCI's BEL Initiative Fellowship offers education, mentorship, and22
4242 exposure to entrepreneurs from Haiti during a summer program in the United States that aims23
4343 to enhance business acumen, connect fellows to valuable resources, and contribute to the24
4444 broader mission of seeing Haiti developed within our lifetime; and25
4545 WHEREAS, GAHCCI's Non-Profit Program collaborates with Community-Based26
4646 Organizations/Civil Society Organizations (CBOs/CSOs) to strengthen their leadership27
4747 capacity, effectively advancing their missions; and28
4848 WHEREAS, through its nonprofit arm, the Georgia Haitian Real Estate Association29
4949 (GHREA), GAHCCI is dedicated to fostering community among real estate professionals30
5050 and promoting diversity within the industry; and31
5151 WHEREAS, members of GAHCCI enjoy a myriad of benefits including monthly business32
5252 coaching, networking and educational events, complimentary advertisements, opportunities33
5353 to serve on chamber committees, special rates on events and consultations, and exclusive34
5454 deals and benefits from esteemed partners such as Anthem Blue Cross Blueshield and35

5858 WHEREAS, under the visionary leadership of President Dr. Ronald Cetoute, Vice President

6161 Chair Saurel Quettan, Fundraising Chair Dr. Marjorie Denis, and Community Relations39
6262 Chair Herve Dor, GAHCCI continues to be a beacon of support, collaboration, and growth,40
6363 propelling Haitian-American businesses and communities towards a prosperous and41
6464 interconnected future.42
6565 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that43
6666 the members of this body recognize and commend the Georgia Haitian-American Chamber44
6767 of Commerce Inc. for its many outstanding contributions on behalf of Haiti and the State of45
6868 Georgia as well as extend best wishes for continued success.46
6969 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized47
7070 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the48
7171 Georgia Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce Inc.49
