8	8	To amend Code Section 31-2A-18 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to

10	10	establishment of the Low THC Oil Patient Registry, definitions, purpose, registration cards,2
11	11	semiannual reports, waiver forms, and annual review and recommendations, so as to add3
12	12	dysmenorrhea to the list of conditions for which medical marijuana may be prescribed and4
13	13	used, when such condition is diagnosed as severe or debilitating; to revise a definition; to5
14	14	provide for conforming changes; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws;6
15	15	and for other purposes.7
16	16	BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:8
17	17	SECTION 1.9
18	18	Code Section 31-2A-18 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to establishment10
19	19	of the Low THC Oil Patient Registry, definitions, purpose, registration cards, semiannual11
20	20	reports, waiver forms, and annual review and recommendations, is amended by revising12
21	21	paragraph (3) of subsection (a) as follows:13
22	22	"(3) 'Condition' means:14
23	23	(A) Cancer, when such disease is diagnosed as end stage or the treatment produces
24	24	15
25	25	related wasting illness or recalcitrant nausea and vomiting;16

28	28	(B) Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end17
29	29	stage;18
30	30	(C) Seizure disorders related to a diagnosis of epilepsy or trauma related head injuries;19
31	31	(D) Multiple sclerosis, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end stage;20
32	32	(E) Crohn's disease;21
33	33	(F) Mitochondrial disease;22
34	34	(G) Parkinson's disease, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end stage;23
35	35	(H) Sickle cell disease, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end stage;24
36	36	(I) Tourette's syndrome, when such syndrome is diagnosed as severe;25
37	37	(J) Autism spectrum disorder, when such disorder is diagnosed for a patient who is at26
38	38	least 18 years of age, or severe autism, when diagnosed for a patient who is less than27
39	39	18 years of age;28
40	40	(K) Epidermolysis bullosa;29
41	41	(L) Alzheimer's disease, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end stage;30
42	42	(M) Acquired immune deficiency syndrome, when such syndrome is diagnosed as31
43	43	severe or end stage;32
44	44	(N) Peripheral neuropathy, when such symptoms are diagnosed as severe or end stage;33
45	45	(O) Post-traumatic stress disorder resulting from direct exposure to or the witnessing34
46	46	of a trauma for a patient who is at least 18 years of age; or35
47	47	(P) Intractable pain.36
48	48	(A) Acquired immune deficiency syndrome, when such syndrome is diagnosed as37
49	49	severe or end stage;38
50	50	(B) Alzheimer's disease, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end stage;39
51	51	(C) Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end40
