88 To amend Code Section 31-2A-18 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to

1010 establishment of the Low THC Oil Patient Registry, definitions, purpose, registration cards,2
1111 semiannual reports, waiver forms, and annual review and recommendations, so as to add3
1212 dysmenorrhea to the list of conditions for which medical marijuana may be prescribed and4
1313 used, when such condition is diagnosed as severe or debilitating; to revise a definition; to5
1414 provide for conforming changes; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws;6
1515 and for other purposes.7
1616 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:8
1717 SECTION 1.9
1818 Code Section 31-2A-18 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to establishment10
1919 of the Low THC Oil Patient Registry, definitions, purpose, registration cards, semiannual11
2020 reports, waiver forms, and annual review and recommendations, is amended by revising12
2121 paragraph (3) of subsection (a) as follows:13
2222 "(3) 'Condition' means:14
2323 (A) Cancer, when such disease is diagnosed as end stage or the treatment produces

2525 related wasting illness or recalcitrant nausea and vomiting;16

2828 (B) Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end17
2929 stage;18
3030 (C) Seizure disorders related to a diagnosis of epilepsy or trauma related head injuries;19
3131 (D) Multiple sclerosis, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end stage;20
3232 (E) Crohn's disease;21
3333 (F) Mitochondrial disease;22
3434 (G) Parkinson's disease, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end stage;23
3535 (H) Sickle cell disease, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end stage;24
3636 (I) Tourette's syndrome, when such syndrome is diagnosed as severe;25
3737 (J) Autism spectrum disorder, when such disorder is diagnosed for a patient who is at26
3838 least 18 years of age, or severe autism, when diagnosed for a patient who is less than27
3939 18 years of age;28
4040 (K) Epidermolysis bullosa;29
4141 (L) Alzheimer's disease, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end stage;30
4242 (M) Acquired immune deficiency syndrome, when such syndrome is diagnosed as31
4343 severe or end stage;32
4444 (N) Peripheral neuropathy, when such symptoms are diagnosed as severe or end stage;33
4545 (O) Post-traumatic stress disorder resulting from direct exposure to or the witnessing34
4646 of a trauma for a patient who is at least 18 years of age; or35
4747 (P) Intractable pain.36
4848 (A) Acquired immune deficiency syndrome, when such syndrome is diagnosed as37
