| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Samuel Thomas Clark has long been recognized by the citizens of this state3 |

| 20 | 20 | | for the vital role that he has played in leadership and his deep personal commitment to the4 |

| 21 | 21 | | welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and5 |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Clark was born on June 22, 1948, in Dallas, Georgia, and graduated from6 |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Hiram High School and attended McKenzie College in Chattanooga, Tennessee; and 7 |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, he served as a guardian of this nation's freedom and liberty with the United8 |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | States Army, worked for the railroad in Paulding County, and started Clark Ambulance9 |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | Service in 1985, which he operated for 30 years; and 10 |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Clark was elected to serve as coroner for Paulding County in 1992 and11 |

| 28 | 28 | | adeptly served in that role until 2016; and12 |
