| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, the Nigerian Women Association of Georgia has a long and consistent record3 |

| 21 | 21 | | dynamic and committed civic organizations in Georgia; and5 |

| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, this outstanding organization has had a tremendous impact on its community6 |

| 23 | 23 | | through its spirit of service and desire to improve the quality of life in both the United States7 |

| 24 | 24 | | and Nigeria; and8 |

| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, in the United States, the group awards scholarships to qualified high school9 |

| 26 | 26 | | seniors in the Atlanta area, conducts outreach to schools in the Atlanta area to educate10 |

| 27 | 27 | | students about the cultural heritage of Nigeria and Africa, and organize annual summer11 |

| 28 | 28 | | enrichment and educational programs for youth and children in the Atlanta area; and12 |

| 29 | 29 | | WHEREAS, the association also collaborates with numerous charitable organizations13 |

| 43 | 43 | | WHEREAS, this remarkable civic organization has established a glowing reputation of24 |

| 44 | 44 | | renown throughout Georgia for its dedication and high ideals and it is abundantly fitting and25 |

| 45 | 45 | | proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this extraordinary organization be26 |

| 47 | 47 | | NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that28 |
