| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, the Miss Cobb County Competition is designed to recognize outstanding young3 |

| 12 | 12 | | women in Cobb County, Georgia, with an emphasis on their educational aspirations; and4 |

| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, recently named Miss Cobb County's Outstanding Teen 2023, Charlie Key has5 |

| 14 | 14 | | demonstrated excellence in the areas of academics, community service, and leadership; and6 |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, she will be representing Cobb County in the Miss Georgia's Teen Competition7 |

| 16 | 16 | | in Columbus, Georgia, in June 2023, the winner of which will advance to the national Miss8 |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | America's Teen Competition; and9 |

| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, as part of her outstanding victory, she received a $1,200 cash scholarship for10 |

| 19 | 19 | | future education, which she plans to use to pursue a degree in Christian ministry from Baylor11 |

| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, she has further been recognized as a talented vocalist through her numerous16 |

| 28 | 28 | | honors from the Georgia National Association of Teachers of Singing (GANATS) and17 |

| 29 | 29 | | Southeastern Region National Association Teachers of Singing (SERNATS); and18 |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this fine young Georgian be appropriately19 |

| 31 | 31 | | honored for her many wonderful accomplishments.20 |

| 32 | 32 | | NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body21 |
