SENATE SUBSTITUTE TO HB 443
ADOPTED SENATE
A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
To amend Chapter 2 of Title 26 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to1
standards, labeling, and adulteration of food, so as to repeal Article 18, relating to raw dairy;2
to repeal related provisions; to amend Code Section 27-2-23 of the Official Code of Georgia3
Annotated, relating to license, permit, tag, and stamp fees, so as to provide for fees for reef4
and migratory fish endorsements; to provide for recreational and commercial fishing; to5
provide for retention of certain fees; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws;6
and for other purposes.7
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:8
SECTION 1.9
Chapter 2 of Title 26 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to standards,10
labeling, and adulteration of food, is amended by repealing Article 18, relating to raw dairy,11
and any references to such article and to "raw milk" as regulated by such article in the12
Official Code of Georgia Annotated.13
SECTION 2.14

Code Section 27-2-23 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to license, permit,15
tag, and stamp fees, is amended by adding new subparagraphs to paragraph (4), revising16
paragraph (11), and adding a new paragraph to read as follows:17
"(K)  Resident reef/migratory fish18
endorsement19
Annual	10.00 
(L)  Nonresident reef/migratory fish20
endorsement21
Annual	20.00"
"(11)  For wildlife that may be legally taken by recreational or commercial fishing gear22
as authorized in this title or by board rule, the board may designate which species of23
wildlife or species grouping of wildlife require a recreational or commercial fishing24
species endorsement for a fee shown in subparagraphs (K) and (L) of paragraph (4) or25
subparagraphs (C) and (D) of paragraph (6) of this Code section in addition to the26
required recreational or commercial fishing license.  Each species or group of species so27
designated shall require a separate recreational or commercial fishing species28
endorsement."29
"(12.1)  Any fees collected pursuant to subparagraphs (K) and (L) of paragraph (4) of this30
Code section shall be retained by the department pursuant to Code Section 45-12-92.1."31
SECTION 3.32
All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.33
