A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
To amend an Act providing a new charter for the City of Hoboken, Georgia, approved

March 24, 1976 (Ga. L. 1976, p. 3060), as amended, so as to revise the compensation of the2
mayor and councilmembers; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and3
for other purposes.4
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:5
SECTION 1.6
An Act providing a new charter for the City of Hoboken, Georgia, approved March 24, 19767
(Ga. L. 1976, p. 3060), as amended, is amended by revising Section 2.04 as follows:8
"SECTION 2.04.9
Compensation and expenses.10
The mayor shall receive as compensation for his or her services $475.00 per month. Each11
councilmember shall receive as compensation for his or her services $175.00 per month. 12
The mayor and councilmembers shall also be entitled to be reimbursed for their actual and13
necessary expenses incurred in the performance of their duties."14

SECTION 2.

All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.16
