1717 To amend an Act to amend, consolidate, create, revise, and supersede the several Acts

2222 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:5

2424 An Act to amend, consolidate, create, revise, and supersede the several Acts incorporating7
2525 the City of Alpharetta, approved April 9, 1981 (Ga. L. 1981, p. 4609), as amended, is8
2626 amended by revising Section 5.16 as follows:9
2727 "SECTION 5.16.10
2828 Election by majority.11
2929 The person receiving a majority of the votes cast for any city office shall be elected. In12
3030 instances where no candidate receives a majority of the votes cast, a runoff between the13
