| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, the Henry County Office of the Solicitor-General is responsible for prosecuting3 |

| 20 | 20 | | misdemeanor crimes on behalf of the State of Georgia and the citizens of Henry County; and4 |

| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, the Victim Services Division of the Henry County Office of the5 |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Solicitor-General is designed to assist crime victims throughout the various stages of the6 |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | judicial process; and7 |

| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, each case involving a victim is assigned to a victim advocate within the Henry8 |

| 25 | 25 | | County Office of the Solicitor-General who ensures that victims are informed of their rights,9 |

| 26 | 26 | | provided with available resources, and given additional assistance as needed; and10 |

| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, in 2024, the Victim Services Division of the Henry County Office of the11 |

| 28 | 28 | | Solicitor-General provided assistance to approximately 975 victims affected by misdemeanor12 |
