22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, since its incorporation in 2009, Splash Festivals has organized and produced6 |

23 | 23 | | such outstanding experiences as the Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival, the Acworth Art7 |

24 | 24 | | Fest, the Chamblee Art Fest, the Dunwoody Art Festival, the Alpharetta Arts Streetfest, the8 |

25 | 25 | | Norcross Art Splash Festival, and the Johns Creek Arts Festival; and9 |

26 | 26 | | WHEREAS, the Norcross Art Splash Festival, one of the largest annual events in the City10 |

27 | 27 | | of Norcross, first began in 2004 and has since grown into a major attraction, drawing large11 |

28 | 28 | | crowds from both within and outside the city while also supporting local businesses and12 |
---|
29 | 29 | | fostering economic activity in downtown Norcross; and13 |

30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, the success of the Norcross Art Splash Festival is made possible through the14 |

31 | 31 | | dedication of more than 100 volunteers, many of whom are Norcross citizens, who15 |

40 | 40 | | WHEREAS, through their unique approach to event planning, Splash Festivals has21 |

41 | 41 | | established a strong reputation for producing high-quality festivals that engage communities,22 |

42 | 42 | | attract thousands of visitors, and celebrate the spirit of the arts; and23 |

43 | 43 | | WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this remarkable company be24 |

44 | 44 | | appropriately honored.25 |

45 | 45 | | NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that26 |

47 | 47 | | contributions on behalf of the citizens of this state as well as extend best wishes for continued28 |
