| 20 | 20 | | enforcement officers with the untimely passing of Investigator Taylor Jaimeson Bristow on4 |

| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Investigator Bristow was born on July 2, 1994, in Fayetteville, North Carolina,6 |

| 23 | 23 | | the beloved son of Robert Bristow and Shelly Murray Bristow; and7 |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Investigator Bristow was highly regarded by the citizens of his community and8 |

| 25 | 25 | | state as well as by local government officials as a person of unquestioned integrity and9 |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | dedication to the sound principles of law enforcement; and10 |

| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, he served with honor and distinction as a member of the Carroll County11 |

| 28 | 28 | | Sheriff's Office for six years, and his life was tragically taken in the line of duty while he12 |

| 29 | 29 | | heroically carried out the difficult responsibilities of his vocation; and13 |

| 40 | 40 | | WHEREAS, he was united in love and marriage to his wife, Melissa, and he was further21 |

| 41 | 41 | | blessed with two true canine companions, Bo Duke and Daisy Duke, who served as his loyal22 |

| 43 | 43 | | WHEREAS, he will long be remembered for his inspiring commitment to the welfare of24 |

| 44 | 44 | | others, which stands as a shining example of the positive effect law enforcement25 |

| 46 | 46 | | NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that27 |
