16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, the Shepherd Center's mission is to help individuals with temporary or5 |

17 | 17 | | permanent disabilities caused by injury or disease rebuild their lives with hope,6 |

18 | 18 | | independence, and dignity; advocate for their full inclusion in all aspects of community life;7 |

19 | 19 | | and promote safety and injury prevention; and8 |

20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, the Shepherd Center has made a profound impact on the citizens of Georgia and9 |

21 | 21 | | countless individuals worldwide by providing personalized rehabilitation and medical care10 |

22 | 22 | | for those experiencing brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, chronic pain,11 |

25 | 25 | | 1996 Atlanta Paralympic Games Organizing Committee, founding the wheelchair division14 |
