| 11 | 11 | | unwavering faith, hard work, and commitment to freedom; and4 |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Black Americans have played a pivotal role in advancing the principles of5 |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | liberty, justice, and equal opportunity enshrined in our Constitution, from the abolitionist6 |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | movement to the civil rights era and beyond; and7 |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, the contributions of Black entrepreneurs, inventors, scholars, and leaders have8 |

| 16 | 16 | | been instrumental in strengthening the economic, cultural, and moral fabric of our nation;9 |

| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Black Americans have overcome tremendous adversity through perseverance,11 |

| 26 | 26 | | WHEREAS, the principles of limited government, free enterprise, and individual16 |

| 27 | 27 | | responsibility have long been championed by great Black leaders, from Booker T.17 |

| 28 | 28 | | Washington to Justice Clarence Thomas; and18 |

| 29 | 29 | | WHEREAS, members of the Georgia Black Republican Council, an auxiliary of the Georgia19 |

| 30 | 30 | | Republican Party, exemplify the aforementioned belief.20 |

| 31 | 31 | | NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that21 |
